Yachiyo of America Creating 200 Carrollton Jobs
Yachiyo of America will open a new manufacturing plant in Carrollton. The 130,000-square-foot facility will bring more than 200 jobs within three years and represents a $30 million investment.
Yachiyo is a globally recognized automotive supplier, and manufactures plastic fuel tanks and sunroofs. The Japan-based company has chosen Carrollton Industrial Park as the site for its new facility, an expansion of its current North American plastic fuel tank and sunroof capacity. Yachiyo will use Georgia's Quick Start program in conjunction with West Georgia Technical College to train its associates.
"We have been extremely pleased with the high level of interest, cooperation and support received from the State of Georgia and Carroll County, which played a decisive role in our decision-making process," said Chris Smith, Vice President of Yachiyo of America Inc.
